We shouldn't point the finger at the perpetrators of this debacle because when you look into their hearts and minds for motivation you will find the same reasons for doing things that are within the vast majority of people, fellow riders on this planet. The real culprit is ignorance of who and what we are. It is mis-identifaction of self which results in colossal mistakes such as the nuclear monster and mishaps such as Fukushima.

Putting Our Nest In Order Through Self Realization

It's been said before many times, but it bears repeating here, that man is the only creature on earth who fouls his own nest. And womankind is included in the gender singular reference here as the word "man" used in this context means humanity at large. Anyway, to find the reason why this nest-fouling should be so, the question trail leads to the realisation that it is mis-identification of self that inevitably leads to such global calamities as Fukushima.

In other words, if we individually and collectively identify our own beings as something we are not, then we will pursue the acquisition of happiness and fulfilment in life in actions where there is no actual happiness or fulfilment. In fact we will find just the opposite effect. This opposite, unwanted effect, is due to the principle of action and reaction at play, specifically brought about by actions based on false or wrong identification of who and what, individually and/or collectively, we actually are.  In computerese; "garbage in, garbage out". Or 1+1=4.

When this misidentification of self happens at the level of governments of powerful nations then the effect of the nest fouling affects everyone and everything on the planet, as witness the disease of the nuclear industry and it's disastrous effects. Fukushima is nothing but one of the bitter fruits of misidentification of self to the nth degree of absurdity.

The solution? Find out who you are. Start with one's own self.

"The idea that the Limerick nuclear generating plant is “routinely discharging” nuclear waste into the Schuylkill River and that this is permitted by the NRC, and that by extension this is being done by all the nuclear generating plants across the nation, will no doubt come as a big surprise to most Americans, including those who live downstream and downwind of these plants (because it turns out that there are also permitted regular releases of radioactive gas by these other facilities). But that’s the truth." ( excerpt from "Relax, It's Just a Run-of-the-Mill Nuke Spill, DAVE LINDORFF http://rceezwhatsup.blogspot.com/2012/04/relax-its-just-run-of-mill-nuke-spill.html )

In the beginning there was light. Well, in the case of Fukushima there was light as well. Certainly not light from a source I was anticipating. Unfortunately, the situation in Fukushima is not looking any better and the story is still rapidly unfolding. This is a situation where attention must be given with respect to the environmental impacts throughout the world.

Tonight, I was contacted by my Father via Skype. It was the latest round of important updates, as he would describe them, of which I must attend to immediately. The news is grim at best according to the media sources  he's listening to. Reactor #4 is teetering dangerously close to the brink of total meltdown as I type.
